What We're Good At Fixing

If a full-moon date, moonrise/moonset time, or illumination percentage looks wrong for your location, tell us the date, the location you used, and what you expected — that's usually enough for us to check it against the underlying astronomy-engine calculation directly. If a traditional full-moon name or piece of folklore is misattributed to the wrong culture or region, we genuinely want to know; we'd rather correct it than leave a wrong claim live.

What This Form Isn't For

Expect a reply within a few days rather than hours. Data-accuracy reports about an upcoming full moon or eclipse get priority over general feedback, since those are the pages readers are actively checking.

Before You Write In About a Date

A quick self-check often saves a round trip: most "wrong date" reports turn out to be a time-zone difference rather than an actual error, since a full moon lands on different calendar dates depending on where you are relative to UTC. Our methodology page explains exactly how we handle that, so it's worth a look before assuming the site got it wrong — though if you've already checked and it's still off, we do want to hear about it.
