MoonCadence

Personalized Lunar Calendar (PDF)

The free tools on this site show you today's moon, wherever you are. This is different: a designed, printable 12-month wall calendar built specifically for your location and year — every new moon, full moon, and traditional name laid out month by month, plus a best-sky-watching-nights callout and your own personal "birthday moon" page if you give us the date. $9.99, one-time, manual fulfilment.

Every date on the free MoonCadence pages is computed for a global instant (a full moon happens at the same exact moment worldwide) or a generic reference. This calendar is different in a way that actually matters: moonrise, moonset, and the best nights for viewing genuinely shift by your latitude and longitude, so the "best sky-watching nights" callouts on your calendar are calculated specifically for the location you give us at checkout — not a generic global list.

Your birthday-moon page (if you provide a date) shows the exact phase, illumination, and a rendered moon disc for that date, printed and framed as your own — the same underlying calculation as our free "Moon Phase on Any Date" tool, just designed as a keepsake rather than a one-off lookup.

Fulfilment is manual by design: after checkout, a real person builds your PDF from that day's real computed astronomical data using your location, year, and birthday, and emails it to you directly — typically within 24 hours, never automated content generation.

What's In the Twelve-Month Layout

Each of the twelve pages covers one calendar month for your chosen year, marking every new moon and full moon on its actual date, labeling the full moon with its traditional name for that month, and flagging any eclipse that's visible from your general region. Months with a second full moon get the Blue Moon called out explicitly, using the same modern-definition rule explained on our methodology page, so the calendar and the free site never disagree with each other.

How Localization Actually Works

The location you enter at checkout is converted to latitude and longitude and run through the same moonrise/moonset solver the free site uses in your browser, except computed once for every night of your chosen year instead of live for a single lookup. That's the part a generic printable calendar can't do: two readers in the same month, one in Oslo and one in Nairobi, get genuinely different best-viewing-night callouts because the moon really does rise and set at different times for each of them.

Delivery, Timing, and Refunds

Checkout runs through Stripe, so your card details are handled by Stripe directly and never touch our servers. Because your PDF is hand-built rather than auto-generated, delivery typically takes up to 24 hours rather than being instant — if it hasn't arrived in that window, or the location or dates are wrong, message us through the contact page with the email you used at checkout and we'll fix or refund it.

$9.99 — delivered by email, typically within 24 hours

Processed securely by Stripe. Payment now, PDF delivered by email after — a real person builds it from that day's computed data.
